SUMMARY:Life Skills for Adults on the Spectrum
DESCRIPTION:This is a new life skills based activity group that will meet virtually on Zoom. Adult constituents will have the opportunity to learn and develop various life skills through live step by step instruction and visual supports. A weekly challenge activity will be available for participants to practice skills at home. \nThis group is for registered UM-NSU CARD adult constituents 18 years or older who are out of high school. \nFirst Tuesdays of every month from 6:00 – 7:30pm \n\nSeptember 1st – Nutrition Basics & Grocery Shopping\nOctober 6th – Making a Healthy Smoothie & Snack\nNovember 3rd – Making an Easy Lunch\nDecember 1st – Clean Up & Meal Planning\n\nPhone screening is required. \nIf you have any questions or to register for the group contact Nathalie Roman at nvr13@miami.edu
