DESCRIPTION:What: Special Mitzvah Seder \nWho: Jewish adults with developmental or physical challenges \nWhen: Monday\, April 10th 2:00pm-? (arrive between 1:15pm-1:45pm) \nWhere: Beth Torah Benny Rok Campus in North Miami Beach/Aventura (20350 NE 26th Ave\, Miami\, FL 33180) \nCost: Free (Provided by a pool grant from the Miami Jewish Abilities Alliance\, a program of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation\, and by individual contributors) \nHow to register: If you are interested in attending please email specialmitzvahseder@btbrc.org \nSpace is limited and registration is required. \nEvent Details: \n  \n\nEach participant will be partnered one-on-one with a volunteer\nParticipants may also be accompanied by a caregiver or family member\nTables will be small\, with about six or seven people\nEveryone receives a filled seder plate\, our unique Haggadah in Pictures\, a song sheet\, non-alcoholic “wine” and salt water for dipping the parsley that is on the seder plate\nTables are set with battery candles\, water for ceremonial hand washing\, Elijah’s cup\, Miriam’s cup\, matzah and more\nThere will be singing of many prayers and songs\, with the words projected on a screen to make it easy to follow along\nFor those who wish\, souvenir photos will be taken\nEach participant will leave with a plush frog keepsake\n\n
