DESCRIPTION:JFNA is pleased to partner with RespectAbility to host a series of convenings for all of us who are passionate about the advocacy agenda of the JDAM sessions. We will gather informally on Zoom for facilitated discussions\, sharing strategies\, learning from each other\, and planning action steps so that together we can pursue disability justice and inclusion for all. Each session will be broken up into facilitated networking groups with questions designed both to introduce people to each other and find opportunities for commonality and collaboration. Each attendee will attend 2 25 minute sessions. Each event will conclude with the opportunity to engage JFNA’s JDAM calls to action\, by virtually reaching out to your elected officials.\nEach breakout session will utilize Zoom’s auto caption feature. If you instead require an ASL interpreter\, or a live captioner\, please indicate that in the registration form\, and we will reach out to ensure that the breakout sessions that you wish to attend have that available.

DESCRIPTION:We will be starting an exciting Equestrian Circle program beginning Thursday\, January 7th from 4PM – 5PM\, taking place at Whispering Manes Riding Center. \nThe afternoon program is 30 minutes of riding and 30 minutes of grooming. Participants along with their volunteers will split into two groups of 3\, so while one group is riding the other is learning/practicing grooming and then they switch. \nAll volunteers\, participants and staff members are required to take temperatures\, wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines. \nPLEASE email me if you or your child are able to volunteer so I may forward the appropriate release to be completed.

SUMMARY:JDAM Networking and Community Building Workshops - Advocacy and Civic Engagement on Disability Issues.
DESCRIPTION:JFNA is pleased to partner with RespectAbility to host a series of convenings for all of us who are passionate about the advocacy agenda of the JDAM sessions. We will gather informally on Zoom for facilitated discussions\, sharing strategies\, learning from each other\, and planning action steps so that together we can pursue disability justice and inclusion for all. Each session will be broken up into facilitated networking groups with questions designed both to introduce people to each other and find opportunities for commonality and collaboration. Each attendee will attend 2 25 minute sessions. Each event will conclude with the opportunity to engage JFNA’s JDAM calls to action\, by virtually reaching out to your elected officials. \nEach breakout session will utilize Zoom’s auto caption feature. DESCRIPTION:We will be starting an exciting Equestrian Circle program beginning Thursday\, January 7th from 4PM – 5PM\, taking place at Whispering Manes Riding Center. \nThe afternoon program is 30 minutes of riding and 30 minutes of grooming. Participants along with their volunteers will split into two groups of 3\, so while one group is riding the other is learning/practicing grooming and then they switch. \nAll volunteers\, participants and staff members are required to take temperatures\, wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines. \nPLEASE email me if you or your child are able to volunteer so I may forward the appropriate release to be completed.
