Through 2021, the Florida Voices for Health will be working to capture the experiences of Floridians with disabilities and to share them directly with elected officials. We want to know what works well and what doesn’t in critical programs like Medicaid, Medicare, and SSI.

We’re inviting Floridians with disabilities, their family members, caregivers, and providers to join a small group discussion about their experiences and how the health care system can be improved. The roundtables will be accessible for all people with disabilities and gift cards provided for participation.

This session will focus on the positive and negative experiences Floridians with disabilities have had accessing health care and other services in Florida. We want to hear from all Floridians who self-identify as having a disability.

We’re inviting Floridians with disabilities, their family members, caregivers, and providers to join a small group discussion about their experiences and how the health care system can be improved. This includes Floridians who have received or are waiting to be approved for home and community-based services and long-term care and support services. Each roundtable will have accommodations for all people with disabilities and gift cards will be provided for participation.

How to Participate

If you’re interested in joining one of our small group discussions, please register as they are space limited. The 60-minute conversation will take place over Zoom and will be recorded for note taking purposes only. Recordings will not be shared at all.
