Quarterly Conversations with Miami Children’s Museum: the Benfits of Diverse Friends
January 24, 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Children as young as 6 months old begin to notice differences in skin color. As early as two they begin to prefer playmates of similar race and gender and as early as three, they are forming judgments about people based on racial differences. Join us on January 24th @ 1:00pm as we speak with experts about how to encourage cross group friendships among children and how the benefits of developing diverse friendships creates resilient youth when faced with stereotypes and racism.
We invite you to register below and join us for a lively discussion and Q&A. See you there!
