Vision is our brain’s way of touching the world. It allows us to gain meaning from our environment and direct our future actions. Vision is also our dominant sense, and seeing is a developmental skill which sometimes needs interventions to work properly. Visual skills and learning are intricately intertwined as what we see, how efficiently we see and how well we interpret what we see play main factors in educational achievement. During this presentation we’ll look at the role vision plays in general and more specifically in reading and learning. We’ll show you how we evaluate vision to go beyond 20/20 and teach visual skills that will improve not only learning, but everything we do in life.”
