The Spectrum Virtual Book Club is for individuals ages 16 and older with autism or developmental disabilities who enjoy exploring the world of literature.

The club will meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. The club had its first meeting on Tuesday, April 14. Participants do not need to own a copy of the book.

During the meeting participants will be able to see the story and members of the Els for Autism Foundation staff will facilitate the group. Participants may take an active role as a reader during the meeting or they can choose to just listen to the story. At the end of each meeting, the staff will lead the group in a discussion about what was read. The first book will be Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
